Ok I know, it’s been FOREVER since I’ve done any blog posts on here! Shame on me! But if there is ever a time to to break my internet hiatus, it’s to share Emily’s amazing bridal session with everyone! It was two days before the wedding, the weather was iffy at best, and we knew there were no opportunities for a re-do, but man did it go GREAT! This past weekend was AMAZING! Two great weddings, two great couples, and two incredibly fun receptions! One of those weddings was for Kristina and Justin, and now that the wedding has come and gone, I can FINALLY share her bridal sessions with the world! I’ve done quite a few sessions at Fairview Riverside State Park over the past month, but this bridal sessions helped push it higher up on my list of favorite locations! I have been so excited for Darlene’s and Shawn’s wedding to get here; not just for the wedding, but also because I can FINALLY share her bridal session with everyone! The venue, a great little gem called Le Barn Rouge, was a phenomenal backdrop for an amazing photo shoot! I could go on all day about how great this bridal session was, but I think the photos say it all. Enjoy!

Memphis natives Erica and Marques made the trip all the way to Slidell, La and the elegant setting of Palmetto’s on the Bayou for their perfect destination wedding. Surruonded by family and friends, the two exchanged vows under the magnificent oak (which they said was what brought them here), and proceeded to thrown one of the funnest receptions I have ever had to chance to photograph!

The fall sunset in Lacombe was the perfect lighting for Kris and Eric’s Engagement Session! These two are such a fun, laid back couple, and it’s always fun when the pups are included! Okay! Robyn’s Bridal Session was one of the funnest shoots I have ever been on. I know working as a photographer has brought me to (and hopefully will continue to take me to) some pretty awesome places, but the thought of standing on the enormous pilings of a mile long bridge over Bay St. Louis had never crossed my mind until I met with Robyn and Anthony in fall of 2015. Needless to say, it was a pretty unique experience, and a bit nerve wracking to have all my gear mere inches from the water, or to be standing on the bow of a boat, knees shaking, waiting for waves to put me in the perfect spot, but I think the reward of this fun shoot was totally worth the risk! Well the fall season has officially started, and although it didn’t quite feel like fall yet, I had an amazing time working with Darlene and Shawn during their engagement session! From the first pose to the last , they were such an amazing, easy going, and fun couple to work with. The quiet rural setting was a great backdrop for these two, and really put us all at ease. Hello everyone! I know it’s been a while since I’ve done a post, and for that I apologize. The biggest reason, aside from a busy wedding season that carried over into the summer, is the pretty little lady featured in this post! I’d like introduce everyone to Hayden Cecilia Mott! She arrived on June 2 and has been such a blast to be around. I’ve been wanting to do a newborn session with her for some time now, and finally got around to it when she made 7 weeks old! It was such an amazing honor to be there for Christy and Melyssa’s wedding last month in New Orleans! From our initial meeting at a Christmas card photo shoot last fall, I immediately knew these two were an amazing couple and that the wedding was going to be a blast. I feel so blessed to have been able to capture Kelli and Taylor’s Beautiful Wedding last month! From the moment I met with them, I could instantly feel the love and devotion they have towards each other. It was great to see them enter into marriage surrounded by their loving family and friends, and when, at the reception, they danced to my favorite song by my favorite band…..well, I’d be lying if I said I didn’t tear up a bit. Congratulations Kelli and Taylor, and THANK YOU so much for allowing me to be part of such a wonderful occasion!
